where is Lanre David Agbaje

      I know he is a Nigeria,and he's been kidnapped for two years now,going to three years really.His wife/fiancee was shot dead at the time of his kidnapping.Maybe he's dead or something.Did anyone know the latest on the story?

        I heard about the guy too,but it was long ago,We dont hear much from the news media anymore,Sometimes horrible things happens,The painful thing to me was why would they killed and waste that half- caste girlfriend/fiancee of his,if its the guy they want they already have him,When i saw the girl picture i shed tears,Too many wicked people abounds,if you hear any news pls post it here online,i will be checking this post often.Good Luck man.

        I stumbled on this topic by accident this morning,i ve added Nationality,proffesion and gender to the topic.The guy was my senior in school and i read about him and his predicaments sometimes in the past,i ll come back to this page to put more insight into the topic soon.

        We were in the same Polytechnic in the early 90s, but he was my senior, we were in the same Accounting department, he was brilliant and very popular, he was in the Student Union Government as the P.R.O, President of a Campus Magazine, "The Wittower", and couple of other bodies in school,you know what that means in those days.

        After graduations we were in different University and we lost touch, 2004 we met again, this time more polished and he looked like an executive. He was in the company of a mixed race lady, the Lady i later learnt was his fiancee, She was murdered the same day he was kidnapped. From him that day i learnt he just returned from a two weeks holiday to the UK,

        That was the last time i saw him alive,late 2006 newspapers narrates from eye witness reports how his car was stopped on the road in broad daylight and how he was seized by men in uniform and the mixed race fiancee of his severally shot and murdered, in what seemed to look like armed robbery. His car was left at the scene,which suggest it can't be robbery.The verosity of reporting about him or seaching for him is greatly reduced, possibly to zero, i understand two/three years is a long time to be searching for someone in a place where there are lots of crises daily, it may even be good to agreed that he is been killed or something.I do look for news about him by looking up google once in a while. When i bumped to this i decided to put this few line maybe it will help. He was a shy, Strict, friendly and ambitious person. If anyone have more things about him they should please add it, so that we all learn something from it.

        Hi Cheunger, I havent been able to check this post since the last time i was here,i was kinda busy,unfortunately the organisation he was part of and his employment history eluded my knowledge,and i wouldn't like to put up data that is not very accurate about him(Lanre D Agbaje). To be honest we talked about it, that is, the last time i saw him in 2004 but now i am not sure which is correct,either the Department of Health or Department of Finance,besides that, he may have changed jobs like anyone else,but i am sure someone will update those spaces some days soon,fingers cross.

        A woman simply identified as Mrs. Adeola Agbaje has urged the police and other security agencies to intensify effort in searching for the whereabouts of her son (Lanre David Agbaje), who was reported missing sometime in 2006. She said the call became necessary in view of the fact that some people are out there desperately looking to kill her son. In an interview with Saturday Independent, the woman disclosed that she was on two separate occasions, invited to come and identify dead bodies in the hospital. According to her: "the two bodies I saw at the hospital looked so much like that of my son and the both died of gun shot, which was the pointer to the fact that some people are our there, desperately looking out to kill my son and killing people that they belief are my son." She added that on the two occasions she was invited to the hospital, it was the scare that her son had on his left leg that distinctively separated him from the bodies of the dead men she saw at the morgue. "Sometime ago when my son's daughter (Nike) was even kidnapped before she was released unhurt, the only question her kidnapers asked her was where was her father but the little girl was unable to answer them because nobody knew the whereabouts of her father." She said the desperate bid to kill her son must have been informed by the fact that "he (Lanre David Agbaje) doesn't do politics and he's not a man that goes into deals with corrupt people, praying God to keep him safe where he is. She, however, sympathized with the people that their relatives were mistakenly killed for her son, adding: "I know my son is alive."

        Boy 'ol boy,this is serious!, this guy must have step on something big, he must be in possession of something big, or he knows something that will put some people into a definite trouble,or why do you think hes been hunted like a deer like that, If he is alive as the Mother implied, One day with this urge from this assailants, i am afraid they will catch up with him, beside i think the Mother has even given him away by describing that he's got a certain Mark on the left Leg,I think She shouldnt have said that,Its going to be very complex soon,Mark my words. I dont belief he's even alive, i think the poor Woman is just keeping her faith together,2 whole years is a very long time to be looking for someone, And if, just if he's alive he will never be free unless he's invincible.

        Hey!,everyone long time no see,i have been very busy of late, how is the world going on,the last time i was on this site,things were a bity different in the world, now there is a black kid on the block as the formular One's First, and again there is big Obama doing his things in America and the whole world's a bit relieved.I also read this thing about Lanre David Agbaje,Thanks to you so much ecolns,I think it will be cool if we can get something to read from Nigeria about My friend Lanre,I also have opportunity to read some stuffs some few weeks ago in some local tabloids from Nigeria,but i tried to look it up online,it was not put up to the internet,i think they dont put all their news on the internet anyway.There are real threat to this guy, with the look of things i think they haven't got him yet,he may be in a safe hand and those people knows,and they are really bent on getting him,for whatever it takes, what could have prompted this hunts,but one thing is very sure, it is not a STATE hunt its will be this crooked people,mega rich and connected elites,because nobody want to mention anyones name and people knows, but maybe the fear of retributions,i can never guess,but it must be very serious for some guys if this guy is alive.I feel for his families,reading stuffs like that about a loved one,sometimes it is cool to be dead than having all this doubt anging around the family.But i like reading new things from news to entertainments,you know we learn each passing days,so if anyone still got news, pass it around.If God so love him he will definitely spare him,all i know is the assailants will make a mistake one day and their empire will crumble totally.
