On show is a selection of some 200 objects from the museum's large collection of Russian porcelain, dating from the 18th century to the Soviet era. Most of the Russian porcelain in the National Museum of Finland has been received from private donations. The porcelain collection gained international status through a bequest from Kalle Saarela (1902 – 1974).
