"The Glory of the Golden Age" was a five-month long exhibition held at the Rijksmuseum in 2000 to celebrate the bicentennial of the founding of the Rijksmuseum. The exhibition consisted of 200 paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts from the Dutch Golden Age (17th century). About half of the exhibited objects were from the collection of the Rijksmuseum; the rest were on loan from over 65 museums and private collectors around the world.
