"Help" is the twelfth episode in the fifth season of the American crime drama CSI: NY. The episode aired on January 14, 2009. Several young brides-to-be fight over a dress and Laurel Downs is found dead. Marie Lowe says they fought over a dress and after the scuffle, Laurel suddenly falls over covered in blood. The team is called to a separate case where a young woman is found dead in a bathtub full of water. Sid recognizes her as the girl who plays the guitar and sings in the subway. It turns out that both women had been raped by the same person using trademark brutality-the rapist would put his hand in the woman's mouth to silence her, rape her and force her to clean up everything. The case brings up flashbacks for Sheldon, whose girlfriend Kara was a victim. Mac recalls the Gramercy rape cases between 1999 and 2001 that went cold because the rapist had his victims clean up any traces.
