Coinciding with the album release the members have or are planning to release solo material to generate buzz for themselves and the group. This will include a late summer tour as well as a spot on the annual "Rock the Bells" tour. The group is notable for the lyrical abilities of all four members and their large internet following. Their debut album sold 18,000 copies in its first week. As of Sept. 5th, 2009 the album has sold 31,000 copies.. It was confirmed by Royce Da 5'9" in an interview with MTV News in late September 2009 that Slaughterhouse was in talks to sign with Eminem's label, Shady Records
