Epifanio is a timeless newspaper, its co-workers and readers are ageless. If someone should find a yellow-turned issue of Epifanio in the year of 3451 he or she should understand the content. The aim of the newspaper is to introduce different topics of culture (fine art, architecture, literature, music, cinema etc) to a simple man in a simple language. Besides the interesting content a big emphasis is set on design (newspaper as a piece of art). Those people unable to read will find a lot to look at from the edition. Professor of the legendary art school Bauhaus and artist Lazlo Moholy-Nagy predicted in 1930ies that “in the future illiterate will be not the one who cannot read the text, but the one who cannot read the photo”. This idea is valid about the whole visual culture today.
The newspaper is published 4 times a year, the numberof copies printed is 2000. It is mainly spread in Tallinn in Viru Centre, Estonian Institute, North-Estonia Regional Hospital, Noku Club, Kuku Club and chosen book-stores, coffeeshops and art galleries in Estonia and abroad.
