      I would have thought that conjoined twins should be two people, but a lot of topics for conjoined twins are single topics - is this just an artifact from copying articles from wikipedia?

        Yep, all the topics came straight from WP. I have been experimenting with a look-alikes base that has such twinning in its schema. I think there should be a topic for both the individuals of and one for cojoined-twins as a partnership. Same would/could be possible for identical/near-identical twins, often employed in tandem for entertainment purposes.
