He served as Chancellor of The George Washington University Society of Arts and Letters, 2008-2009, that co-administers the Jenny-2 Reading Series, part of the Jenny McKean Moore Endowment and has hosted several authors .
He lectured as a panelist presenting on Arab-American culture and identity in June, 2008 at the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee .
