In his personal life, Chester continues to dance and runs a talent agency in Beverly Hills. He is also a reader of Oprah's O: The Oprah Magazine, which is also a hobby for his character in Noah's Arc. Jurnee Crapps, who played Kenya in season one of Noah's Arc, is Chester's god-daughter.
