Instinct was founded at the beginning of the 2008 season, by former 5K members, and twins, Roy and Lunchbox, and former Agency members, Mackeo and Victory X. At the first event of the 2008 season in Meadowlands, Instinct took 3rd place, notably defeating the number one ranked Final Boss on the way to the Winners Bracket Finals, 3-2. Instinct was swept 3-0 by Team Classic in the WBF, and Instinct fell to Final Boss, who emerged from the Losers Bracket.
After Meadowlands, Victory X left Instinct because of a lack of practice, to join Triggers Down. An up and comer player named Snipedown was added to Instinct. In San Diego, the second event of the 08 season, Instinct took 2nd place, losing only to the champions of the event, Str8 Rippin.
In a controversial move, Instinct decided to drop Snipedown and pick up former Instinct member Victory X. Instinct placed 3rd once again in the third event...
