"Pilot" is the first episode of the American animated television series American Dad!. It originally aired on Fox on February 6, 2005. The pilot introduces the Smith family, father Stan, mother Francine, daughter Hayley, son Steve, pet goldfish Klaus, and alien Roger. It guest stars Carmen Electra, Chris Cox, and Natasha Melnick. It is also one of the few American Dad! episodes that features random cutaways (like creator Seth MacFarlane's other television show, Family Guy).
