V for Vendetta

V for Vendetta is a novelization of the film of the same name. The novel was written by comic writer Steve Moore, who adapted it from the screenplay (by the Wachowski brothers) based on a graphic novel, V for Vendetta, which was written by Alan Moore (there is no relation between the two authors) and illustrated by David Lloyd. The novel was released on January 31, 2006, and the film was released in late March.
