Alison knew all of her best friends secrets and would often taunt them about it in front of them. In the last book, Alison is revealed to have a twin named Courtney. Courtney was mentally unstable and was about to be sent away causing her to switch places with Alison. This resulted in people thinking Alison was Courtney. In a rage she murdered her twin and eventually became the second A. She was resposible for a number of murders after Mona's death. She tried to frame a worker named Billy Ford but that fell through. Eventually she tried to kill Courtney's friends by setting her house on fire. She wrote a letter revealing the truth. It is unknown whether Alison survived or not.
