Initially, Fox announced the series was cancelled on May 10, 2011. However, three months later, on August 24, 2011 TV Guide reported that Fox had picked it up for a second season of 13 episodes, airing as a mid-season replacement. Fox officially cancelled the series on April 12, 2012, and it is scheduled to return in the summer of 2012 to burn off the remaining episodes.
